TRCS SPECIAL NEWS
February 18, 2017
Dear TRCS Families,
With a forecast of more wet weather ahead, we wanted each of our TRCS families to be aware of an additional communication tool we will be using moving forward.
Bloomz Communication system is used by many of our teachers and we have found this tool to be very effective in providing up to date information in a timely manner. To join TRCS Bloomz:
- Click here or go to www.bloomz.net
- Click “JOIN BLOOMZ”, and click “Create Account” on the next window.
- Click “Join a class/group” and use the access code U8QUB7 to sign up.
If you would like to be updated by Text/SMS, send U8QUB7 via Text Message to 1-858-256-6691. Bloomz will automatically send back instructions via Text so patents can finish setting up their account.
In keeping the current weather situation in mind, we also have updated the TRCS Emergency Plan. Upon return to school, we will ask that each of our families complete a new Student Contact Information page, which will be sent home next week and has some additional emergency preparedness questions.
We want to be fully prepared for any event and assure you your student’s safety is and will be our primary concern. The TRCS Safety Plan and evacuation protocol will be reviewed with the TRCS Staff and our families next week.
We are in daily contact with OES and all of Sutter and Yuba County schools. The decision to return to school Tuesday morning is being considered with student and staff safety being paramount. We will continue to monitor the weather and will provide updates as needed. School will resume Tuesday, February 21, 2017, unless there is a change communicated through our website, or via email, or Bloomz. Please check this webpage periodically for updates.
