Admissions Process
Enrollment
Thank you for expressing an interest in enrolling your student at Twin Rivers Charter School. There is a separate enrollment process for Kindergarten (see below) and a separate enrollment process for grades first through eighth. Open enrollment for the 2008-2009 school year began February 12, 2008 and continues throughout the 2008-2009 academic school year. There may be changes to the below based on sign-ups. Be sure to call the main campus for any changes.
Grades First through Eighth Enrollment
In order to ensure that parents understand Twin Rivers and its educational program, there is a mandatory orientation for all parents wishing to enroll their student at Twin Rivers Charter School (TRCS).
Orientation dates and times may be investigated by calling Campus 1 at (530) 755-2872. They are more frequent in the spring. In order to enroll your student at Twin Rivers, you must sign up for and attend an orientation meeting. TRCS is unable to accept registration packets unless you have attended a meeting or contacted the office for specific orientation processes.
Please sign up with the main office to attend one of these meetings. Space is limited to accept the first 20 sign-ups for each orientation date. At these meetings you will be provided information about TRCS, including its philosophy of education, curriculum, uniform policies and other pertinent information. At the end of each orientation, completed registration packets are accepted. A registration packet includes the TRCS application, requests from former school of academic and behavior records, and health records.
TRCS realizes your time is valuable and is making efforts to minimize the meetings while at the same time, actively involving parents in their student's educational program.
Should you have any questions regarding this information, please do not hesitate to contact the school's front office at (530) 755-2872.
Kindergarten Initial Enrollment Occurs in the Spring
In order to maintain the integrity of the TRCS educational program, there is a special enrollment process for kindergarten students. This occurs because TRCS wants to be sure of two things:
In order to turn in the registration packets, you must do the following:
Should you have any questions regarding this information, please do not hesitate to contact our front office.
