You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself,
any direction YOU CHOOSE.

Here is a little about myself. I graduated in May 2007 from California State University, Chico with my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies. This is my eighth year teaching. I have taught Kindergarten through Eighth grade. This is my fifth year teaching Third Grade at Twin Rivers. I married my husband, Brian, in Riviera Maya, Mexico on June 8, 2012. We were married on the beach, with our toes in the sand! I have two dogs, Hurley and Roxy.

I love teaching and inspiring all students to be the best that they can be.  I use data and research to drive my classroom instruction.  I like to spice up the curriculum with creativity and enthusiasm.  🙂  I feel that teaching through technology is a MUST in today’s world. Our room contains a Smartboard, a LCD projector, a Smartslate, student computers, and now iPads! I ask that all students treat my equipment as if it were their own! Lastly, I always strive to achieve a healthy home-school relationship since it’s vital to your child’s success.

I am excited to be at school and getting to know all the students at TRCS!  I love what I do and I can’t wait to work with your child!
